LAZER 96-5 Photo Gallery - THE PEAK 104.1 and LAZER 96-5 broadcasted live from the Grand Opening of the new Dutch Bros. stand on the corner of Greenwood and 27 th in Bend.

May 2005, Dutch Bros opened a new location on the east side of Bend.

And THE PEAK 104.1 and LAZER 96-5 were on hand all day to help them with their Grand Opening.

Pictured here are THE PEAK 104.1’S Becky Broderick and Livin’ Large Larry with Dave Morris and Luke Norby of Dutch Bros.

Dutch Bros had signage everywhere – even a Dutch Bros. van!

Dutch Bros. balloons

Dutch Bros stickers

And Dutch Bros pants – oh Larry.

Dutch Bros even had coffee available at Napa next door. They were everywhere!

And we were there all day as well.

THE PEAK 104.1’s Livin’ Large Larry and Becky Broderick resorted to climbing on vehicles to get attention.

Apparently climbing on a van wasn’t cool enough, so they upgraded to large trucks.

Becky Broderick of THE PEAK 104.1 is a real sucker for animals, especially dogs.

When there weren’t any more dogs to interview, Livin’ Large and Becky moved on to real people!

They even interviewed the Dutch Bros. staff

Luke Norby of Dutch Bros. is a real crack up

Apparently we weren’t the only ones covering the news of the Grand Opening

And Livin’ Large hammed it up as well. Pictured from left to right: Dave Morris and Luke Norby of Dutch Bros. and Livin’ Large Larry of THE PEAK 104.1

It was just laughs all around

Look at that line of cars – now that is a lot of people

So many people we had to help set up construction cones!

People sure are willing to be patient for a free cup of coffee!

I wonder how long these cars waited in line until reaching the window.

Wait or not, these girls knew it was worth it.

This couple actually showed up to try and win the Harleys, but decided that free Dutch Bros. coffee as a consolation prize was good enough for them

And cars were packed to the gills with people wanting free coffee.

This woman opted not to drive, but walked right up to the window for her morning dose of caffeine.

It was all about being Dutch

Let’s not forget that all that free coffee required a lot of hard work.

Too bad Livin’ Large was trying to steal their tips!

Even with those long lines, they kept smiling.

Although this guys seems exhausted.

LAZER 96-5’s Piper Phynnie was also on hand to broadcast live from the event during her Afternoon Show

Apparently Dave Clemens thought Piper was stealing the thunder from his Afternoon Show on THE PEAK 14.1, so he came out to the event as well.

And then he tried to shut Piper down!

But ultimately Piper prevailed and won the adoration of the Dutch Bros. staff for doing such a great job.

She even made nice with Bobby Grover, owner of Dutch Bros.

And now Dutch Bros. is her coffee of choice.

Apparently it is also Porter the Dog’s beverage of choice.

In fact, Porter liked their coffee so much that she decided to join the team.
